British Insurance Awards 2000 Winner, Wren Life, developed
its Windows DNA ® "cradle to grave" system to include
the automation of quotations internally. However, a more
cost effective solution was required for its web-site.
Interragate developed a web-based version of the rates engine
component allowing Independent Financial Advisors to access
the same data via a user friendly front end. The web based calculator
allows for all the same complex rules and conditions governing
proposals to be validated before submitting the information
to the server to produce a quote.
Philip Wolski (MD of Wren Life) says "What delighted me most
was how Interragate quickly extracted and interpreted the specific
business requirements from our hugely complex principle system
documentation and turned them into a practical tool in a fraction
of the time that I was expecting. The delivery schedule was
tight, but Interragate met all our requirements".
