Welcome to the South West Regional Strategy ChangeUp Database The primary function of this database is to view the Contact Information, Budgets and Workplans of the organisations and Consortia participating in ChangeUp in the South West. For the user there is no report feature, instead the main purpose of the database is to look at the ways different elements of ChangeUp are working to meet the Key Themes and High Level Objectives. To aid this, there are five criteria by which the user can filter the data. The filters for these criteria can be selected and de-selected by using the control boxes on the left side of the page. They are:
Specific descriptions and instructions for using these filters can be viewed by holding your mouse over the title of each filter. By filtering the data on these criteria one can view what work is being done by whom with a great deal of specificity. There are three different views for looking at the data selected, they are:
These views can be selected by using the buttons across the top of the page. When the filters are selected and search run there will be a list produced for all organisations in the South West Region that meet the criteria. The user can then go through the list and analyze it. The user should be aware that different results return for searches performed in different views. For instance, in the Contact Information view organisations will return that have plans that address a selected Key Theme, while in the Budget view each organisation will return that has even a single line item that meets the criteria (e.g. most organisations have and ICT budget item even if they do not work on ICT). We welcome your comments on the usefulness and accuracy of this database. It is conceived as a responsive tool for the region, As workplans and budgets evolve we will refresh the data and we will strive to introduce reporting functions that are helpful.
